Eatadakimas! 🍜
Ok, so the real Japanese phrase is itadakimasu and is said before eating to give respect to those who prepared the food, those who grew the food and even respect to the grains, water, plants and animals that make up the food.
We love the Japanglish phrase because it is a little easier to remember right before you dive into a steaming hot bowl of your favorite ramen.
Whether it is Spicy Miso Ramen or Twinkies, taking a minute to be thankful is also just good for you… even if your food isn’t, lol!
And, we all know that Ramen is good for your soul!
